Continuous consulting services are provided to you throughout your wedding planning. Two weeks prior to your event, we will meet with you to confirm all the details of your day. We will skillfully orchestrate your entire event by creating and presenting delicious, beautiful foods, supervising well-trained service personnel and producing for you “the symphony of your wedding”.

About Barbara White-Isiminger
Owner, Coordinator, & Chef
Barbara has spent her entire life here in the Ohio Valley. She started spending time in the kitchen at a very early age, and it has always been a passion.
With a background in interior design and project management, in 1994, she decided to exit the corporate world and start a service oriented business– a special occasion decorating and coordinating company-Ambience.
In 1999, she really took the plunge– she married Tom and decided to open a professional kitchen and become the exclusive caterer of the Hellenic Center. In 2001 their daughter Sophia was born. Wanting to enrich their daughters perceptions of the world, the family travel extensively, which has allowed them to gain an appreciation for diverse culture and world cuisine.
Barbara enjoys the intensity, creativity, and the details of planning and executing a perfect party-and she personally supervises each event. Service, presentation and delicious cuisine are her specialty.
About Brenda A. Pettit
Chef, Kitchen Coordinator
Brenda , also a lifelong Ohio Valley resident, brings to Ambience more than twenty years of experience in the food service industry. Her well rounded career has taken her from industrial kitchens to private pantries and beyond.
Growing up, Brenda gained a love of working with food from her grandfather, who was a cook in the Army during WWII. Baking pies and preparing traditional German recipes from a very young age started her on a lifelong love of working with food. She has now found her niche in catering.
One of Brenda’s favorite challenges is coming up with new and exciting garnishes for the many dishes she prepares. She also enjoys crafting and working with the children from the Sunday School class that she co -teaches with her mother.
Brenda now resides in Moundsville with her husband Mark and their young son Mark Alvin.
